Our History

We have proudly been presenting the best players & clubs to the best colleges & recruiters since 1999. Our first boys tournament, Score at the Shore, started by director Joe Conlon and held on Long Island, NY. Bruce Binler joined the following year when we quickly realized the need for a top-notch "all about soccer" showcase and began our yearly tradition of inviting the top teams into the tournament, little did we know just how fast we would grow. By our 4th year we added our Girls showcase, once again drawing in the top teams to play for the top colleges. Joe took on the title of "Boys Director" and Bruce became the "Girls Director", and the kick off to our winter events became shortly thereafter. In 2006 we also added Ms. Shannon Duke to the Score family as logistic coordinator for all tournaments. Our winter event has been in a few different Florida cities, and hopes to stay in the beautiful Tampa Bay area for a while. The weather is amazing and perfect for a 'winter' tournament. Both our boys and girls winter events are now being held in the Tampa area.

Our summer events moved to gorgeous Greensboro, North Carolina in 2006. What a wonderful move it has been. Greensboro, also known as Tournament Town, has been extremely hospitable and has welcomed us with open arms. After our second summer there, we decided we have found our new and permanent summer home for the tournament. In November of 2007, we announced a 10 year deal with Greensboro and have released our tournament dates through 2017.

With all the exciting changes that took place in late 2007, including the 10 year announcement with Greensboro, NC; we decided it was time for a bit of name change. Officially we are called The Score Tournaments (DBA Score SC, LLC). Our winter event will still be known as "Score at the Shore" and our summer event will now be known as "The Score Showcase at Greensboro" (unless someone knows of a shore in the middle of North Carolina). All of the changes have been exciting and we look forward to many more years of bringing you the best players, clubs, colleges, showcases and so much more. The one thing you will always notice about us, is that our goal is to keep it "all about soccer", and we do whatever it takes to make sure you are able to go onto those fields stress free and ready to play at 100%. Our goal has never been about being the biggest tournament, its just been about presenting the best... to the best.
